Skiing
Our hotel is located between 2-3.000 m tall mountains! As soon as the first snow falls, we await those who enjoy skiing, in Rauris valley.
In the 2009/2010 season the beginner, advanced, professional and snowboarding tracks had won the bronze medallion, and can be found at 400 m from the hotel. Those who are courageous can try out their skills on the race track, where they can measure their speed with the help of the automatic speedometer system.
In the village you can find a few ski rentals, and also in the hotel a heated storage can be found.
The different type of difficulty tracks add up to a total of 36 km, you can get to the top of these with the help of one of the ten ski lifts.
You don’t have to worry of all of the above, even though you never skied in your life! Adults and children can enjoy one of the winter sports, with help from the ski instructors.
If all this is not enough then under 40 minutes by car you can reach Kaprun, where you can find all kinds of tracks. Kitzsteinhorn is one of the most snow assured mountains in Austria. On the tracks of Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe the skiers and snowboarders can get lost in the joy of the descent.
